Tomorrow night, March 13th, on CBC TV Rick Mercer goes to 'Salt Spring Island,' to interview a great Canadian musician...Randy Bachman, from the groups, "The Guess Who," and "Bachman Turner Overdrive."
This is a wonderful place, about 25 miles off the BC coast. It's a small Island, 25 miles long w/ 10,000 people on it.
I dont know if folksinger Valdy still lives there, also Bill Henderson from the group "Chilliwack," has a house there...
Should be interesting TV viewing. Check for your local time viewing...

Randy Bachman
Valdy
Bill Henderson

Hey Charlene,
It was a great show as usual. That Rick Mercer is one fine Canuck. Can you beleive that 500 Guitars. Im pretty sure he's had more than that in his lifetime.
There was a show on him a few years back, and he had this room, it was a vault. He was collecting Gretsch Guitars, and had over 300, in that room.
He was buying them everywhere, even contacted Mike Nesmith of the Monkees, to see where those great Gretsch Guitars were that they use on the show. And Mike told him they were all stolen.
Michael Nesmith
Amazing life he has for a kid who grew up in Winnipeg...
