Don't forget to watch the news or look in the "Today In History" section of the newspaper for the wreck of the Big Fitz.
By the way, did you know the 1st episode of the soap opera 'Days Of Our Lives' aired on November 10, 1965?

There's also another "Wreck" Anniversary. It was 27 years ago this week that it hit the national top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

At #3,it seemed poised to take over the #1 spot from The Steve Miller Band's "Rock 'N Me". The following week Rod Stewart jumped ahead of him and sat at the top for 8 weeks with,"Tonight's The Night". As we know,Gord had to settle for #2. Had he gone to #1,it would have been a bigger hit than "Sundown". The pop charts are as dangerous as shark infested waters! In an odd coincidence,he peaked at 2 exactly 1 year after The Fitz sank! Been me,later!
