A chance to win in an auction: A LIGHTFOOT signed guitar:

you have the chance to obtain a Gordon Lightfoot-signed guitar for a great cause: Here are the words from Ian Davies on Smales Pace/Change of Pace Reunion concert No. 5 set for Aeolian Hall on June 5 :
“This is a very special event because in addition to the concert, we are raising funds for the Ken Palmer Bursary Fund. The bursary was started in memory of the late Ken Palmer who passed away in October 2013. Ken was the mandolin player for legendary The Dixie Flyers, and the 15-year term Artistic Director of Home County. The bursary will be awarded for the first time in April 2016 to a graduating secondary school student (with financial needs) to pursue a post secondary education in music at either Fanshawe or Western. The bursary fund will be administered by the Jack Richardson Music Awards. We have already received a donation of a guitar signed by Gordon Lightfoot which will be auctioned that evening. In addition to the live auction, there will be a silent auction, and donation buckets. At the 2014 concert we raised just over $1000. This year we hope to raise significantly more.
Wow. Maybe Ed Sheeran (playing Budweiser Gardens the same night) will come over & bid. OK, that’s a thought . . . not a prediction. Big Kenny, you must be smiling at the possibility, eh?
Finally, speaking of June, the 2015 Dundas Street Festival goes June 13 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ridout to Wellington). Prediction: Music lineup goes from A2Zed & #WePlayOn (The Musicians formerly of Orchestra London) will pop up somewhere.
