I met Mary a year ago and she said she was really frightend doing this because she doesn't like heights. Couple of quick notes about Mary She is still a lovely and sweet lady. When she repalced the original female singer in the group, one of the people she beat out for the job was Karen Carpenter. Mary is the widow of singer songwriter Roger Miller
