Thanks, Char, for posting this excellent interview. I knew the song "Carefree Highway" was named after an actual highway in Arizona, but I didn't realise until now that the highway was named after the town of Carefree in Arizona. An internet search led me to maps and photos of Carefree, Arizona. The highway seems to start around 2Km (around 1 mile) south-west of the town. Carefree claims to have the largest sundial in the world.

Gord didn't totally rule out recording again. "I got songs in my head", that pleased me!

A million "thank you's" for posting this, Char. How fantastic it is to hear his take on things in his own voice, as opposed to some writer's interpretation of what was said about this and that.

What a great way to start out a day!

"...after a while they started to realize that i was more than just a hoola-hooper...and that it went a little deeper than that"

an understatement, lol
