Default Jory Nash - CRITICS' ALBUM OF YEAR 2009

My dear Jory has won a very prestigious award from Penguin Eggs Magazine - Canada's Folk, Roots, World Music Magazine - Critics' Album of the Year 2009!

Penguin Eggs Critics Poll is surely the definitive look at folk, roots and world music releases in Canada in 2009. Almost 50 members of the media, folk club and folk festival artistic directors, specialty record store staff, and various individuals with an acute knowledge of folk, roots and world music in Canada participated in our eighth annual poll.

Congratulations Jory!! He needs to come down to New England again. I remember seeing Jory, Aengus and Terry at a furniture store in Worchester Mass. Strangest venue ever, but it was a fun show.

It's a fabulous cd with some really lovely tunes.
"Elegy (how will i)", written for his alzheimers stricken dad takes my breath away.
"you break my heart, you break my heart and you try my patience too, but the hardest part, the hardest part is that you don't even know that you do."

He's one hell of a talented guy.
