Re: Song For A Winters Night
Hi John,
The first one is me, Tim (DawnsMinstrel.)
I already have a "cover artists" thread here:
http://www.corfid.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=18527
but it's in the general discussion forum and it has some non-GL covers posted. I'm sure Char will get around to moving it here when she has time. I'm having some problems with my guitars right now, but once I've got decent instruments to work with again, I'll post some more videos to YouTube and embed them there.
-Tim

Re: Song For A Winters Night
Thanks Tim,
So what do you think? Is it better to have a thread that has your name. "Tim ____" as the title. You can create "replies" and "posts" to it with a tune at a time. People who like you can find you there..talk to you there ...etc. And of course it all links back to your YouTube stuff anyways. .So you can include your URL to YouTUBE as well.
Should we create a thread with your full name as the title to see if anyone is thinking that way??

Wow! Hey guys. You have no idea how good this makes me feel. It's brilliant!
Guess the suggestion of Red to hook you two up is coming well into fruition.
You picked the best tune to put on here with SFAWN but don't let it stop with that one.
You blend really well together!
Can't wait to see you again, hopefully during my "Paddy's Day Week" pilgrimage back to Ontario.
Cheers, Ron J.

Keep them coming Tim. You're a very talented guy and it's quite evident that the Lightfoot material seats itself well into the fold of your musical genre. It's a joy to have you here with us.
It would be great to connect with you somewhere down the road.
All the best. Ron J.

Thanks Ron,
I've just now noticed this post. Sorry about that. I guess I don't check in often enough. I'm afraid it's been some time since I've posted anything on youtube, but I have plans for a lot of new videos. I have my guitar back from the shop now and it sounds fantastic. But I have a broken nail, so I have to wait for that to grow back or find something to make due with in the meantime.
It would indeed to be fun to connect up sometime.
best wishes,
Tim
