Should the color scheme of Corfid be changed? (Vote)
Before I begin.I just want Florian & Char to know I'm not trying to do a hostile take over! LOL!
Now,that said,as we know,Corfid will be turning 10 next August and this got me to thinking.
Should Florian & Char make a change to the appearence of this site and go with a new color scheme to mark the occaision?
For my own opinion,I think it'd be a good thing.
On the record,I'm not at all saying there's a thing wrong with the color it is now. Just curious to see if we would want this or even if they would.
So,along with a simple yes or no vote, there's also (if voting yes) the vote for what color you'd like to see. I'd appreciate any input.
So just add your votes on as the thread goes, vote tally as of now is:
Yes : 1 - Leaf green/Spruce
Color : Leaf Green/Spruce -Regular Green Yellow-Red-Purple-Pink-Orange
or one I haven't listed.
No : 0
Thanks for reading & voting in advance. Thanks Florian & Char as well.

I hope the colour scheme is NOT changed. It's Corfid's 'signature'.

BitterGreen Perhaps? Interesting idea but it's the content, not the colour that matters. The blue looks like a familiar home to me...

Re: Should the color scheme of Corfid be changed? (Vote)
I like the current format with the blue background.
Char...I fumbled around to see if I could find how to change the color scheme/forum layout....and found it under the following path:
1) click User CP
2) Under settings & options, click edit options
3) Go all the way to the bottom of the page and look for forum skin. In the drop down box at the right, you can pick from three options: use forum default, corfid and default style. The first two options are the same--the blue we are used to. The last one, called default style, changes it to a white/light gray background with a horizontal format with blue horizontal bars. I personally don't like it....but others interested in a change might.

Or you can simply scroll down at any corfid page to the bottom left where it says corfid. Just click the little arrow, and you can choose between corfid or Default Style, which looks like a different forum all together.
But it's not what Borderstone was asking. Like to keep it corfid, but another background color, I supposed Florian could do that, since Char said she doesn't know how. Or if it's possible to begin with.
You can also change many way you view a post, like not getting pics. You would only have the url address of the pic...aso.

Re: Should the color scheme of Corfid be changed? (Vote)
well I don't think it is our place to come into someone else's 'home' and suggest redecorating might be in order..
if it is possible for the individual to change the colours that's great... but as I said earlier..it's just fine as it is..

Me, I like the colour scheme just like it is as it's easier for me to see what's in front of me.

Re: Should the color scheme of Corfid be changed? (Vote)
Yes. We could always try something, and if it doesn't work, go back to the way it was. Change the background (currently blue), to black. And change the links (the orange) to red. And the text can stay the same. (white).

Well, I put my screen on the default style for a change.
Actually, it's kind of nice to see Gord Land in stark white and blue
Looks very pure
