A Gordon Lightfoot Sighting!
Just caught a TV commercial for 'Make Poverty History - Canada' and thought I saw a familiar face flash onto the screen for a few seconds. Gordon Lightfoot has added his name to this cause along with a large number of other Canadian artists.

did you catch the news folks on GLOBAL on a commercial with quotes from different folks that they found enlightening and pertaining to news I suppose.??

Thanks Char. I hadn't seen the commercial before today. When I checked the site I didn't see the video. I also missed the GLOBAL commercial with Lauren McNabb quoting Gord. I thought I caught another one of the GLOBAL ads you refer to with another quote from Gord but have never managed to catch it again. Geezzz, it's a race between my eyesight and my mind to see which is lost first!
