He IS in his 20s. Watching the Pens gave him the grey hair!

And I say that as a long-suffering Maple Leaf fan, so I sympathize ZR! :D

Flattery will get you nowhere...

Borderstone,
Zoneranger is a combination of two of my favorite TV shows I watched as a kid. Clayton Moore as The Lone Ranger and Rod Serling's Twilight Zone. That gives you a little background on the name and also how old I am!!

ZR - I can't say I watched those TV shows but I do know the pain of having a losing team....39 years is TOO long between Cups and I ain't gettin' any younger...
even naming my son after a Leafs captain didn't help....
sheesh....
maybe the Jays can pick it up this year---it's been 13 years since we won the back to back World Series...
go JAYS go!!!
ack.....

Char,
Since my boys are in your town tonight playing baseball I have a question. Could I wear my Orioles t-shirt to a game up there and not get in a fight ? I know I wouldn't do it in Boston or NY, LOL. I'd love to see your ballpark someday. We're leading 3-2 as I type this.

fer sure - c'mon up! I love being there and meeting folks from other towns....I've had lots of great times at the games sitting with the "other side."
Toronto people are pretty good and don't go postal on other fans....The Dome can be a VERY quiet place!
oh - broken bat.....sheesh. LOVE that Troy Glaus....
It's a great venue...I have to get down and see the new 'sod'....
In 2001 I took the Brits (Bru,Paul and ALan) toa game and they got lucky enuf to see the dome close....it's quite amazing to see.....even if the game sucks big time...
lolol
That was the day Boomer Wells came back after saying nasty things about Toronto fans and it got ugly!
BOOOOOOOOOMER!!!!
I had no voice by the end of the game. Poor Bru thought that after 3 outs the game was over and was ready to go....so we just kept buying her wine coolers....Paul and Alan quite enjoyed the brown pops too!
lolol
Most people still call it The Dome or Skydome even if it has a new name - The Rogers Centre...big deal - the guy bought it and the Jays...it's still The Dome!

darn - we almost came back....good game....

Yeh and if I remember correctly, poor Bru almost lost her head when someone hit a ball high up and it almost hit her! Or was that the intent? LOL
Great memories!

BUT who would have thought up in the nose bleed section, way out past third base the foul ball would ever get there and bounce in the aisle beside you???
lolol

here in the USA we catch those foul balls and take them home as mementos, letting them bounce is considered in poor taste, LOL

That ball was coming so fast had I tried to catch it it would have taken me with it - right up and out of the stadium. The wine cooler seemed a much better idea. :D
