Have you ever thought about your real name or your name on here? I have, many times. Not long ago I was contemplating changing my name from Walter to Anthony or at least make Anthony a secondary middle name. Walter Anthony LaMont C. (no offense but I never give my last name online.)

As for "Borderstone",I chose it because it was still a relativley "new" GL reference when I signed on early last year. I had considered "Canary Yellow Canoe" but someone snagged it and wasted it.

Of course, most of the obvious one's had been taken so I went with it. I considered changin that once too but of course I can't and by now I couldn't anyway. I very briefly considered "The Auctioneer" but never thought any more about it.

Ever consider doing either of these? "I Want To Hear It From You"! Later!

Well, I'm Auburn Annie because that's what my maternal grandmother called me to distinguish me from another cousin with the same first name. Her mother came from Scranton PA, so Gram called her "Scranton" Annie and (because MY mother was born here) I'm "Auburn" Annie. No Lightfoot reference, of course, though if he wants to borrow my moniker for a song, that's okay by me.

I chose "stationmaster" primarily because of "Station Master" of course, but also because my grandfather worked for CNR as a section foreman in Newfoundland many years ago...

Annie,
With your connection to Scranton PA. Could you tell me, have they managed to clear up the aftermath of those 'smeared 30,000 pounds of bananas,?

My user name is a nickname given me by a friend from London, Ontario. Though I have lived my entire life in Southern California, I am a huge hockey fan and even played in a "Huff and Puff" league when I was younger. I think the Canadian national anthem, "O Canada" is a beautiful and stirring song. I have been a fan of Gordon Lightfoot and Joni Mitchell for well over 30 years. When I told my Canadian friend all this, she replied, "well, I guess you are just a closet Canadian trapped in an American's body!"
