iTunes Essentials

I don't think this has been mentioned but in addition to listing the available GL albums, iTunes also has songs listed under "Gordon Lightfoot--iTunes Essentials" which they do for many artists and bands. This was launched May 16, 2006. It is organized under the basics, next steps deep cuts,and the complete set (which consists of 75 songs).

Nothing new here, of course, but at least he gets his due...

He gets his due and more on the iTunes site. Ya gotta love it. I never searched for him before now, since I have everything in my iPod already. A great selection of albums and the essentials thing is great for someone getting started. How many times have we guided new members thru their first purchases ? Now we should first ask: do you have an iPod ? If they say yes we should just send them straight to the iTunes store. They'll be hooked up in minutes, WOW !
