From Wayne Francis' site:
- In September 1982, Lightfoot is the first performer to play Toronto's new concert hall, Roy Thomson Hall. It's a one time deal, as he continues to do his annual Toronto stands at Massey Hall. -

I was there for this one. I was 15 years old and I found an older friend of my brother's who was willing to take me. As I think back on it, I realize that I remember very little about it. I remember my impressions of the hall, but I don't really remember much about what Gord did. I get annoyed with my memory. I seem to forget so much of the details of my history. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on corfid was also there. And if you were, what do you remember about this one-time concert experience.

I was there as well...and I just remembering thinking how out of place he looked. He belongs at Massey. Can't recall what songs he sang either...and I was 27 years old...

It will be an odd feeling again to see him in Hamilton...
