I'm hoping quite a few news outlets (YV?Internet?Newspaper/Magazines) will cover the 30th anniversary.

It's a long shot but you never know!

Well, today I got a great surprise at work. Sometimes around noon, the kitchen staff will have our local oldies station on and if I'm not too busy at that time,I try to get a request in during their "lunchtime request hour". Of coure,I was going to request ..."Fitzgerald".

I was doing my part in taking some dishes back to the dishwashers area, just before I was to head to the phone and I hear from the radio some music that sounds familiar butit's playing low.

I walk over turn it up and discover, someone else in Phoenix has already beaten me too it! :D Whoever that was, thanks for saving me the trouble.

I wonder if it was former message poster Matthew Bullis? He livers here in Phoenix but he stopped posting awhile back. Anyhow, here's to the crew of the Edmund Fitzgeral\d,their families and their memeory. Also,to the 29th aniversary of the song reaching #2 (next week).
