The folks who are attending the Vegas shows must be having an awfully good time. Guess they're just too busy to post set lists! I know "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", but this is ridiculous!

Even in the Wayne Francis site there isn't nothing......i hope that at the end we'll have all the setlists of this tour, it's too important.

Hello All,
My first post. I flew to Las Vegas specifically to see Lightfoot. I've seen him numerous times during the last 20 years. The show started around 8 and we were outside at 9:15. A very short set I thought. Looking at the set lists from the previous shows on this tour, there were a lot of songs he cut from this one:Shadows, CRT, Christian Island, Bitter Green, Pony Man, Beautiful, and some others. It pains me to say I thought his voice sounded very thin. I know he's not 35 anymore and with everything he's been through I wasn't expecting him to play for 2.5 hours. But he seemed tired.(We were in Vegas, after all) That being said, I thought there were a couple of songs he nailed. Triangle was my favorite, and I thought he did a very good job on Let It Ride. As an encore he did Old Dan's Records. This is the one song in particular I thought his voice couldn't catch up with. Midway through, he sang the wrong line and stopped the band before started the song over again. I'm sorry this is not a wonderful review and I didn't record the set list.

Hey Cowboy,
Thanks for taking the time to post. Truth is always appreciated, hope all is well with Gord, and glad you enjoyed Triangle and especially Let it Ride! Are you staying for tonight's concert?

Cowboy Sammie (my cousin's nickname in Nebraska)
A very loving, thoughtful, gentle, and genuine glimpse of Friday nite.
Personal thanks from The Rez, which, plus a pittance $3.50 will get you a Starbucks Latte'
Thank goodness you've heard Gord 20 times before. Had I the freedom, I too would have come.
I attened last week in Cerritos, where he shined. AfterConcert BackStage he was very
animated and made sure to give his attention to each of the small groups in the room.
I had come to know Gord 20 yrs ago thru a mutual friend. Gord was as personable as ever and looks you right between the eyes - and gives you full attention. Such is his character.
Of this I am confident Cowboy, there will be more and you will, once again, His conginued zeal for the music, will not let him set on his laurels. Not while there is breath to give.
His time at Cerritos was as inspiring as ever, if not as tight as ever. The "looser" was "gooder."
You sound like a Cowboy who gives a body and even shake. Pround of you you for your candor, honesty and love.
The Rex,
. . . keep your Dreams as Clean as Silver

I guess none of the members of our group here carries a laptop (computer, that is) so we'll have to wait until they return home to see the reviews. Someone posted earlier that we could expect 'casino style' sets at these dates not unlike the ones they performed at Hamilton so the timing sounds about right. After all it's four nights in a row and it is a casino. Thanks for our one glimpse of Vegas so far Cowboy Sam, appreciate it.

"No extensive review but a couple of quick thoughts.
Thursday's concert was a little rocky. Gord gave it his all and it was
wonderful to see him back on stage. They're all doing little touches
in arrangements that are really nice to hear. The whole atmosphere is
a lot more laid back than traditionally. A lot of fun.
Friday's concert was super. He was in good voice. Very relaxed and
did things I've rarely seen him do like change capo position and retune
on stage; flub a line in a song and grin, shake his head, stop, and
start over; say "No, I chaned my mind!" and then turn to Terry and say
a song name and walk up to the mike and just do it. Fabulous to see
him so relaxed and having so much fun. Pretty talkative, smiling a
lot, joking, and just enjoying the fact that he's back on stage doing
what he loves. And WE love it too!"

Hi, I blasted in for the Thursday show and blasted out of Las Vegas the next morning. Cowboy and the NG covered this pretty accurately and will only add a few pics of the casino signage that can be seen at:

Hi Everyone,
I am new at this site and so happy to have found it.
I attended last night's concert and it was absolutely the best that Gordon has had in awhile. The set list was great (big applause for Early Morning Rain!) and Gordon's voice was fairly strong throughout the entire concert. He was very funny and personable and I felt he drew the audience in to him. He also shared some funny stories about his surgery.
I loved closing my eyes and listening to my all time favorite artist. If I did not have to work tomorrow I would be back at tonight's concert!
What a wonderful memory to have and I cannot wait until his concert in Sparks NV later this year. Definitely going to do a road trip up north!
Glad to have found this site!
Thanks!
Laci
