Ten years ago when I was living in the Seattle-Tacoma area, I checked out the local record shops, and found an odd GL 45.
It had an "Underground Records" label, and had credits to EMI/Capitol/Warner Bros.
The two songs on it are: "Tom Thumb Blues" and "Spin Spin." These seem to be from 1968 or there-abouts. Still have this 45.

Interestingly I purchased a sort of golden oldies single in Ottawa in 1989 which has the same two tracks as the single which is the subject of this topic although it subsequently warped badly and in trying to flatten it it became cracked if I can find it I'll scan it and post here again
Well All right as promised I found my 45 as purchased from Legend Records Lincoln Heights Ottawa on March 14th 1989 for the princely sum of $3.20 incl sales tax it is also on the Underground records label

You can see the evidence of my attempted and unsuccessful superglue repair!!

You lucky duck! (Quack-quack!) I want that too! I have all available GL songs but those and the Aim Records release from the early 60's! I'm jealous!

Renorick could you please read the newsgroup thread starting at:- http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&...0525859ac48a03
where I suggested to Vancouverine (??) Ron Jones that you NW Lighfoot fans should arrange a gathering. I think that you should contact him and join in the possible jollifications
