It's Worth Believin' 12 Talking in Your Sleep 8

"It's Worth Believin'" took an early lead, but "Talking in Your Sleep" fought back. In the end, "Believin'" won. That is truly one of my favourites too. It's got an atmosphere or mood, almost whimsical. Nice rhythm and guitar sound too.

Now we'll try two "toe-tappers." I was listening to my Summertime Dream Cd recently. Great songs on that one. I was also listening to Montreaux as well. A toe-tapper on those CD's is "I'd Do It Again." I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk about that tune on this board. So I'm going to force you to talk about it. Here is today's matchup. Which song do you prefer?

I'd Do It Again

or

Bend in the Water

Have a great day.

Bend in the Water. It always makes me tap my toes. Until I start thinking about what other corfiders (corfidites?) have mentioned THEY think the song is about (dirty minds!) Now I can't listen to it with a straight mind! But, that's not why I prefer it. I just like it, it's bouncy and happy.

Bend In The Water.
In fact, I'd Do It Again is one of the songs I usually skip.

"Bend In the Walter,,er...er..Water!" :D

Bend In The Water,definetly!

"I'd Do It Again" is good but it lacks a bit of energy (in my opinion.)

I pick I'd do it again, because it's on the first GL album I've ever owned; every time I hear it, it brings back memories to years ago.

(Its not too late to vote, is it?)

Bend in the Water.

"I'd Do It Again," IMO, is the weakest song on Summertime Dream.

BTW, if one has the vinyl, often Gord puts what he views as weaker songs in the penultimate slot for each side. Not always, because sometimes he wants the album side to flow well. "I'd Do It Again", IMO, is in the slot because it is weak.
