Gord said after the show that "they wanted me to go home that night after the show in Harris"(MI). He saw a couple of specialists and said to us that it was "just a small blood clot." Gord acted like everything is going to be fine. We told him we were praying for him and my wife even gave him a kiss on the cheek. I'm sure this didn't hurt his condition any. On with the list.
1. Cotton Jenny
2. Carefree Highway
3. Sea of Tranquility
4. Never Too Close
5. 14 Karat Gold
6. In My Fashion
7. A Painter Passing Through
8. Rainy Day People (before the song Gord limbered up his left hand - stretching. Quote = "get limbered up the other way - the fight will come later".
9. Shadows
10. Beautiful
11. Waiting For You
12. The Watchman's Gone
13. Ribbon Of Darkness
14. Sundown
15. Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald
16. If You Could Read My Mind
17. Don Quixote
18. Baby Step Back
19. Blackberry Wine
20. Early Morning Rain
Encore:
21. Old Dan's Records
Gord rested a bit from playing on song # 12 and 13,
but played right through on everything else. Did stop on #21 and had to start over, explaining to the audience he was having trouble holding the flat pick and went on to explain his transient stroke.
Did not play 'Can. R.R. Trilogy' tonight. I speculate that the length and demands of this masterpiece were just too much right now for his right hand to handle. Gord was in very good spirits during and after the show. Did find out his favorite John Wayne movie (since I'm also a serious J.W. fan - "Wake Of The Red Witch". If you are contemplating going to see Gord live - GO!

I am so happy to read that GL is doing well.
I am lucky enough to be in Venice, Italy for two weeks but I am occasionally checking in on Corfid to keep up to date with his health.
I am looking for to having the chance to give him an 'unexpected peck on the cheek' in April at Town Hall in NYC

I also saw him in Aurora. I was disappointed not hearing Canadian Trilogy but after hearing of his recent problem... I just have to say he is the epitomy of the saying "the show must go on". Took a lot of fortitude and only made me a greater fan. Get Well Gordo... Hope to make at least one more of your concerts.
p.s. Also saw him in Peoria about 15 years ago. Damn.. can't believe it was that long ago.
