Theres a GL Warner Brothers test pressing being sold on e-bay with many songs I've never heard of. Maybe these are more familiar to the rest of you and I'm just behind the curve. Warner Brothers white label XTV221564. 23 songs.
1. River Gal
2. Where are the Martyred Children?
3. Anything my Woman Does.
4. Too Much to Lose.
5. The Lost Children
6. When Spring was O'er the Land
7. Echos of Heros
8. A Love That's True
9. Things They Say
10. A Ring and a Secret
11. Try To Count the Tears
Side 2
1. That Innocent Look
2. Two Kids From (Cabbage)? Town
3. Somebody Told a Lie
4. Yes I Will
5. Red Roses and You
6. Betty Maes a Good Time Gal
7. A Few Moments Ago
8. (Rosey)? and Me
9. The General Store
10. Sand of Time
11. Prettiest Time of Her Life
12. Sweet Temptation
I recognize 2 of the songs. If this is unpublished material it's probably a treasure trove. Unfortunately it's already selling for $227.00 with 4 days left. Who knows how high it will get. I'm not the seller, just a fan. The e-bay # is 887239306. I figure if the GL fans here don't recognize the songs, noone will.

That is a rare record indeed. Actually, there is a second record to the set. That second record is pressed on one side only. All of the songs are referred to as "The Warner Brothers Demos". The Demos totals 31 songs. (The Demo set that was released in the UK had 32 songs on it. The extra song is "Crossroads".) If you ever get a chance to hear a copy, you're in for a treat.
As for how high a price it will bring, I know I'll be watching!

Is there anyone from the Toronto area who might know of any used record outlets in the GTA that might be stocking the test-pressing albums? I'd love to get a hold of this stuff. There's a serious scarcity of Lightfoot rarities.
