After lurking a few times over the years I'm no registered. Who knows where it will go from here.

Nice picture Mr Kirk sir and a warm welcome to corfidland!!
You might just as well have registered as then you could edit or even delete your postings and do other good things
Next time you can try your hand at displaying your picture yourself
you need only to put after it
and it should appear
Oh yes let's try it now

I'll preview it then if OK I can add "bingo"

Well, like Doug I finally went and signed up myself tonight here. I've meant to for a long time but never seemed to get around to it. It was coincidence that Doug also signed up in the last day - I didn't realize he had done so til after I had registered.

While in Toronto, I was reminiscing with Jenney about the old AOL group that the two of us, as well as Doug and AnneOK and many others that are now here, were a part of. That was a great time and I miss some of it, especially the AOL Lightfoot chat room. (which still works, by the way)

Anyway, I'm here now too. And I'm going to add a test picture myself. And what better than this one, (with apoligies if it's been posted on this site before) This is an old picture taken out back at the back stage door at Massey Hall in 1999 with me, Jenney and Darin wearing the shirts we had made up because we were sitting in the front row and hoped to get Gord's attention. I'm "Mr Love" in the middle.

One of the funniest parts of our wearing those shirts was while walking back and forth to Massey Hall, we kept getting in the wrong order. Finally, one street person who had seen us a couple of nights in a row, couldn't stand it any more and starting correcting us!
Welcome Andy and Doug.

Actually I found the picture somewhere years ago and thought it funny. I don't really have the soap.

Thanks to all of you for greeting me here. I'd liked to have been at Massey this year but events in my family life conspired to make it too dificult to swing.

Doug - that pen and ink is done by david crighton- http://www.davidcrighton.com/index2.htm
he did the one i have but he did a watercolour over it and the side of the building has a marquee that he filled in the 1984 dates for the lightfoot shows. he also gave one to gord. you may remember it from 2001 downstairs on the wall beside the walkout doors to the pool. it is now above the fireplace in my computer room. the mantle is a lightfoot shrine!lol
i have several of david's pieces. he's a great artist and a really nice guy.
here's my pic:

Nice shrine that only a fellow Gord worshipper would take notice. Okay, what are the 2 bottom books? I recognize the Wish You Good Spaces, the Maynard Collins book and the Reno DVD but don't recognize the bottom 2.

I mean no offense about the Gord worship. It was said with mutual love and admiration and respect. :D
