The CBC's on-line edition is saying that Gordon was hospitalized due to stomach pains that started earlier Saturday got worse.
At noon central time, ABC Radio had reported that he was listed in critical condition. However, most patients are listed that way as long as they remain unstable. This latest news seems to rule out stroke or heart attack, but of course early news is often inaccurate.
