I had a conversation this morning, with a fellow Corfidian, Marc in maine. And this question came up. Does anyone know the reason, why would Red Shea leave the Lightfoot band so early??

I read somewhere that Red had tired of touring and life on the road. He wanted to spend more time at home with his family. Back in 1974 or 1975 he did go back on the road for one tour as I saw both Red and Terry backing Gord at the Hollywood Bowl that summer. That was quite a treat to see those two guitarists on stage together!

Thank's closetcanadian, for you info. It has to be one of the reasons. Im thinking also maybe his health? He plays those Lightfoot songs, as if they were his own. In a way they are a bit, I guess. The guitar strings, {Dangling and Jangling}, Im sure didn't hurt Gords carrer...Jesse
