Yeah I know its off topic somewhat. But I am a member of this GL board but want to invite you as I paddle 3500 miles solo next year retracing Lewis & Clark during the bicentennial of that expedition.
Come check out my web site at: http://www.lewisandclark-2004.com
If you can spare some change, I have some great t-shirts for sale online too. Goes to a good cause. Gord will soon be wearing his too!
Cheers

It occurred to me Norm that it might be a
good idea to paint your canoe a nice bright colo(u)r in case they have to send out a search party!! Hows about a nice shade of yellow, say like a canary

Great Site, I wish you great luck, what an undertaking. I will be purchasing a shirt from the web site, I wish I could help out more. I'll be checking in and see how things are going for you.

Debbie you should half looked at Norm's site
He seems to be well on his way having set off way back in March

Perhaps if he sees this he'll respond ...I believe he said he hoped to keep in touch with the net on his travels and had a laptop with him (solar-powered perchance??. and I do hope he has managed to acquire Harmony (issued since he set off of course)
