I thought it would be kind of fun for us to post what sort of Gordon Lightfoot stuff we've put on our wish lists, and then come back after Christmas and share what we've all been blessed to receive.

On my wish list: Songbook CD set and any Lightfoot CD except Harmony, Gord's Gold & Complete Greatest hits. Now we'll see if my family pulls through for me.

I have almost all of the possible Gordon Lightfoot music but i will say,I hope to get "Sunday Concert plus" sometime because I don't own the song "Spin-Spin" & the other extras on there. (I forget the titles offhand).

Other than that,I'd love for a new CD of material,as would most I imagine.

Title of that CD? I say: Forest for the Trees

Well, I'm just slowly filling in all the vinyl with CDs....

The good thing is my 17 year old daughter asked for a copy of Sundown and any other GL we might find interesting and in budget after everything else she wants......

She's definitely getting Sundown. It's hiding in my bedroom as we speak.

I'd like a Blu-ray DVD player, then have "Live in Reno" released on Hi-Def DVD!

Under the Christmas Tree???

I'd like to have a healthy Gord under the Christmas tree at Grant Avenue Studios working on his new album!

Failing that, how 'bout "Peace on Earth and Good Will Towards Men". Not holding my breath...

May not be politically correct, but neither am I.
Wishing everyone here a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Yuri

You know...I had gotten into the bad habit of feeling weird saying "Merry Christmas" and had switched to the McHoliday mode of "Happy Holidays". But then someone told me something very true..Christmas is a freakin' FEDERAL HOLIDAY! Would you be embarassed to say "Happy Fourth of July" or "Happy Thanksgiving" to someone? NO. So Merry Christmas to everyone. And if you don't celebrate Christmas, that's fine, I respect that, but I wish you a Merry Christmas anyway!

I heard that more people are offended when you tell them Happy Holidays, than are offended when you say Merry Christmas (Christian or not). What a mixed up world. As for me and what my heart tells me, I want to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
