Just watched Gordon in a live interview on
Canada AM. Awesome Awesome Awesome. Some of the highlights:Said ha was very scared at times, brought some music equip in to hospital with him to practice while band practiced in studio, kept saying how lucky he was, proud to complete harmony given circumstances, his voice sounded a little shaky, but looked GREAT. Said worst advice he had ever received was back in his variety tv days at th CBC when told he should throw away his guitar and focus on variety. Again, he looked awesome, and it was a real treat.

I wish I still live back east! When I lived in PA I could always get a channel or two from Ontario! You lucky!

Focus on Variety? Yeah, and be forever referred to as Gordon Leadfoot!
Nothing leadfooted about this new CD,that's for sure! Aurevoir!

Why don't the Americans get any channels like that?

I'm an American and I got it. You just have to live in the right place.

Got to http://www.cbc.ca/national/ and click Watch The National Online. It's updated every night at 11PM, so with any luck, the Lightfoot interview might still be there. It's the last 15 minutes of the show.
