SAGINAW, MI — The lights dimmed around the audience as a light followed a man with a guitar onto the stage.
The crowd clapped, whistled and screamed as Gordon Lightfoot stepped up to the mic.
Lightfoot started with singing "Sweet Guinevere" to more than 1,000 people of all ages Sunday, May 5 in the Heritage Theater at The Dow Event Center in Saginaw.
The Canadian singer-songwriter performed songs from his "50 years on the Carefree Highway" tour featuring popular songs such as "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" and "Sundown."
