Well,I haven't heard it yet but how would he compare? If he did it close to Gord's version but still adding his own personality to it,then I think he'd be applauded favorably. If he tries to make it into some form of loud,obnoxious grunge or metal or some weird concoction,then GL fans might just call for his public humiliation!
Seriously though,if he did the 2nd thing,I just wouldn't buy it. Borderstone,outta here and Alberta Bound.
