First, to Colorado Sue, yes Cathy is an amazing talent. Whereever she plays, people are blown away by her voice and her fingerpicking. For my part, I'll just say I picked a good teacher!

I just realized that none of us ever posted here about the party/house concert at my house next month. I've started another thread on that. There is another one of Cathy's recordings linked in that message; on that one, River Of Darkness, Derek Kidd - who has also posted here - has added his lead guitar and bass. They play the song live, of course, and that is one of the Lightfoot songs they will do at the concert.

Second, to Watchman, since Cathy doesn't get online as often as she'd like, I'll answer your question. SDYS is not a song that she sings; likewise with DQ (but Derek does a great job on that one, with Cathy accompanying - I'm sure they will do that one at the concert). She plays both of them beautifully, as you can imagine, with the bridge in SDYS, and the Red Shea sound in DQ.

If you twist my arm, I'll post some more links to Cathy's recordings.
