Jeffrey,
where do you go to school? My daughter is in grade 11 and has taken Lightfoot in English and history in elementary school.English was the ballad study of Yarmouth Castle in Grade 7 I think and in Grade 8 history they studied the Canadian Railway - The Trilogy is in the Gr.8 history book here in Ontario. I've helped a few other students with their projects on Lightfoot. When my daughter and I met Lightfoot a few years ago in Orillia he seemed quite pleased that he was in a history textbook. It is a great honour for a wonderful song and man.
There are lots of places with info and the links section on the home page will take you to all of them. Keep us posted and let us know how your project did!

Your choices to represent Gordon Lightfoot say it all about the man and his music and the land he loves.
