I have a great CD of Gordy in concert in 1976. There are pretty good background vocals on almost every song. He played this 1976 show with the same band as he currently tours with (minus PeeWee on slide). Who was doing the bakcground vocals and when did Gordy put a stop to it and why? It may have been Rick Haynes singing as I notice during shows that Rick sings all the words to 'Sundown' when they play; but I would have expected a big guy like that to have a lower voice.

If anyone has gone to a Lightfoot show in Minneapolis or Denver in the past dozen years or so, I'm the fool who always asks for 'High and Dry'. Gordy always says something like, "Sorry, that song's sleeping", or "Sorry, we've already moved a capo or two". Once in 'Minny', he just said "No" and made everybody laugh. He cracks me up.

GO GORDY, GO!!!!
