I'm not a big fan of winter yet fall is my FAVORITE time of year. I love to see, feel & hear the first November storm each season with its ferocious energy, temperature drops and the force-awakening of the winter spirit in mind, body and soul! The mind set shifting gears to "survival mode".
I come into the house and grip a coffee cup, shake off a chill and wonder who's on the lake tonight in this latest November gale...Looking at his/ her GPS, listening to chatter on VHF, radar displays, NDB indicators, charts...And thoughts of The Fitz.
