I was hooked immediately! Over the past 35 years I have collected GL's albums and now CD's. I have 20 plus the Songbook box set.I still look out for the more obscure compilation CD's.
Incidently, I have a friend living in Kitchener, Ontario and he has recently introduced me to two more Canadian singers, Stan Rogers, who tragically died at a youn age and Garnet Rogers, his younger brother. The both produce phenominal work with very distinctive voices, ( I am listening to Garnet as I write this! )
I apologise for this rather long and rambling message, but I love GL's work and wish him a speedy recovery. When is he going to do concerts in the United Kingdom??

Great taste in music, Steve. I've been a Gord fan for a long time. A few years ago, a friend sent me a bunch of Stan Rogers CDs and he's now running a close second to Gord. Garnet is great, too. I particularly enjoy his fiddling.
Welcome to the group.
