Hey one and all. My favorite Lightfoot song is The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Now, everyone thinks I'm morbid because of that, but it's not the case at all. I pretty much grew up on that song. I'm from Michigan, where the event of the song takes place, and my grade school music teacher had us listen to that song every year, like music history, ya' know?? Well, anywho, I like the song, even though it's so sad. Maybe that's part of the reason I like it, because it makes one stop and think and reflect and ponder and empathize, especially young impressionable grade school kids!
Anywho, Mr. Lightfoot is swell!! Woo-hoo!
