Not menopausal, no, unless the hormones aren't working. I did some background searching on Kara Krisch (ya gotta love the internet - it's all out there) and Kara Krisch used to be Gordon Krisch, class of '82 Sterling College. S/he's transgendered, originally of Clarksburg Maryland and later lived in Portland Oregon before turning up in St. Paul. S/he also has other issues which aren't germane to this forum. She posts fairly often on rec.folk.music.
