yes, these Lightfoot tributes go back decades but they were more 'open mic songwriter theme' nights, of which I always enjoyed the GL ones the most becuase with the cataloge so large you wouldn't end up getting musicians playing a bunch of radio hits only when it was a Gord night
but this past decade's caffe lena tribute and hugh room and TWIF tour are the most orgranized and formal tributes to Gord that you will come across (unless there's something overseas), it really great and I'm just learning more about that caffe lena gig and heard some really fun sound clips too, talent and heart combined
