Hey you know I was on a motorcycle trip around the North Shore of Superior in June of '05, and it was COLD AND WINDY, brrr... I can 'bout imagine what it's like in November. Those men who died on the Edmund Fitzgerald definitely had a harrowing ordeal, may they rest in peace.
On a lighter note, we had a day or two on our trip when the wind died down, the sun came out, and we were able to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. It is definitely a trip I'll repeat. The people in Canada were wonderful to us, but it's definitely different than the States.
