I could not agree more! Along with that I'd also say "A Message To The Wind" and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" do this just as spectacularly.

In the 70s I'd point to,"Beautiful" and "Your Love's Return".

80s is hard to say because it seems he's having to fit in with that period. Best I could say is,"Shadows","Triangle" and (speaking for the acoustic versions I've heard)"I'll Tag Along" and "Morning Glory".

Makes one wish he could wakeup one morning and his voice has returned to it's 1960's /70s form. been me,later!:cool;
