In the last 20 years or so, more so in the last 15, Gord has had a flat stomach. Since the surgery, he has quite the pot belly going. Of course this is from the trauma and surgery, but I am 99.9% certain the suspenders have to do with medical issues. If you guys read past threads, it's obvious why he wears suspenders.
