I think "flawless" is a tough one! Gord has spanned such a long time, that I feel you have to divide his work into two halves. You have to have a "older" era versus the "modern" Lightfoot. My opinion is flawless in the older: Don Quixote and the modern: Waiting for you. I find it most interesting that both these works have strong songs that Gord did not write. His performances on these cuts, are very srong though, almost better than some of his own works. It is an amazing career, and I think with the Harmony release and the history behind it.... time for lifetime acheivement Grammy award? Not many have been around longer. I can count them. They gave Johnny Cash an award and he did not write most of his stuff like Gord has. Thats my thought on flawless
