LOL! Actually, I think that was what I was trying to say. You can be a native American without being an American Indian (which is no longer a politically correct term to use). So I figured you could be a native Canadian without belonging to a "tribe."

I think you and me were saying basically the same thing. I guess what it boils down to is Gord IS a native Canadian (born and raised in Canada) and Julie's son can safely use him in his school project.

I COULD be wrong here, so please correct me if I am. And if I've misconstrued something, please forgive me.
