I think Gordon's answer at the end of the interview is a great one.

Unlike a lot of "superstars" who (knowingly) want to be recollected as some kind of "rock god" or "musical icon",Gordon is content to just be who he is while he's here.

He knows himself well & also that it's not worth the worry to care about what others think. Now or then. I know I always say it's bne great if he made the R&R Hall Of Fame but even if he didn't,it wouldn't matter.

That's why I like him more than any other male artist. He's not perfect (none of us are) but he's still the best example of what a celebrity should really be above all....human.
