I was midway through 16 when USA For Africa came about and hit #1 here in the U.S with "We Are The World".
It came directly after "Do They Know It's Christmas?" a #13 hit during the '84/'85 holiday season.
On the USA for Africa album was the Canadian Northern Lights track we're talking about. I saw the clip ages ago and am still kicking myself for getting rid of the LP.
Who better than Gordon to lead off the singing? I can't imagine anyone. Great as they might be.
