I know for certain that if GL had ever sung the above mentioned song,we all would have heard it by now (or read about it if it was unreleased). On one of the seperate GL sites there is an alphabetical list of his songs,both released and not and that was not one of them. I think whoever had the website that said he did sing it,probobly didn't bother to check to see if that was right. I have Paul Stookey's song and I can sort of see how someone not familiar with GL's music or Paul's might make that mistake. Most people just lump in all '70's country/folk & AC artists together and really don't see the difference. I wish Gord had done it,cause it would be a really great addition to any LP he would do or has done. It's been me,outta here and Alberta Bound!
