The show opened with the ever handsome Gordon Lightfoot in a dark blue velvet jacket with dark blue satin lapels and either navy or black pants. Same colour bowtie. He then proceeded to sing "I'll Tag Along" after he received a standing ovation when introduced by Jann Arden. He said "thank you, thank you very much with a huge smile on his face. He put a slight twist on one word - where he usually sings "this time tomorrow we might all be packed and gone, I believe it's best to carry on" he sang", he sang "this time tomorrow we might all be packed and gone, I believe it's best to party on". I wish he'd do this song in concert. He was alone on stage but with Elizabeth as he arrived and sat in the audience.
Other inductees were The Guess Who, Jean Beliveau-Montreal Canadiens hockey, Lelsie Nielsen-actor, Veronica Tennant-ballet, Kurt Browning-ice skating.

It was a great show.
