Great song Dan and it's one of my favourite as well. If I recall from an interview I once heard, and I know I still have a tape recording of that interview somewhere in my archive of collector's items, Gord wrote that song for one of the guys in the group "April Wine" at the request of the guy's girlfriend. Apparently at her request he immediately sat down, wrote the song and that was it! DONE! Like only Lightfoot can do it! Ron Jones.
