1. Question: Gordon's opinion of the state of Canadian music today(i.e. Canadian Heritage)?
Answer: Great down east music[did not mention any specfic bands]

2. Question: Which song best describes your personality?
Answer: A Painter Passing Through

3. Question: What other jobs did you have?
Answer: Worked in a plant, drove a truck, worked in a bank, back-up singer/dancer

4. Question: What song did you sing yourself to sleep with when little kid?
Answer: Song from Sunday School

5. Question: Other guitarists that influenced your style?
Answer: Merle Travis, Red Shea

6. Question: What song do you enjoy singing the most?
Answer: Songs that stand the test of time...In My Fashion

7. Question: What gave you the confidence to perform?
Answer: I wasn't shy about it, finding the work [was the problem]

8. Question: Can I call you "Gord"?
Answer: Call me anything, except don't call me late for supper(lol)

9. Question: Do you mind other people covering your songs?
Answer: Can't complain, many wonderful versions

10. Question: Favorite musical experience?
Answer: Visiting Mt. Rushmore

11. Question: Will you ever stop singing?
Answer: Retire? I'll carry on as time permits...mandatory retirement age is coming up???lol

My question for Gordon would be "How do you remember all the words to the songs during your performance? Do you use a tele-prompter?"

I know this question was asked to Bob Dylan, and he answered that it was easy because he wrote 'em all! Yet, I've heard "...Edmund Fitzgerald" over 250 times, yet I couldn't remember the whole song if my life depended on it! How do you stay focused to remember all the words w/o forgetting?
