Hello, I've just discovered a singer-songwriter named Mary Gauthier, which is pronounced go shay, and really enjoy her. She has three albums, which I've ordered. She is extremely honest in her songwriting, and doesn't hold anything back. The music is country or folk, and is very acoustic based. Now if personal details about singers bother you, and you have a hard time getting past things, which I can understand, then I will be up front and tell you now that she is gay, but the music is not blatant about it. I think there is one song that even hints, but you're not going to get a soapbox or an earful of things you'd rather not hear about her preference.
