I love Ghosts of Cape Horn, but I had a funny reaction to it when I first heard it. It seemed like a redo of Edmund Fitz and I thought it might have been a reach by GL for past success. But after finding out it was done originally for a documentary everything made sense. Whoever produced that documentary obviously knew where to go (Lightfoot) for the perfectly crafted song. Falder al and a riddly rum.
