My mate (surname Clifton) passed away suddenly in Melbourne last month, aged 62. He was a keen collector of music from secondhand stores and had bought a few Lightfoot recordings over the years. His favourite music decade was the 1960s and all 3 songs at his funeral were from the 1960s. In choosing a Gordon Lightfoot song as a tribute to Cliffo, it had to be "Old Dan's Records".
