The above review is great except for one big thing it failed to mention. Gordon received three standing ovations during the course of the show and two more at the encore and then the end. That's five total. And for someone such as myself who's probably seen over 200 shows alone in the past ten years, Austinites just don't give an ovation to anyone. I was at this show and these ovations were not just for a few seconds but averaged probably 45 seconds each. Which is a long time in the world of ovations. After the show, my wife and I met Gordon for the third time. And I've never seen him looser and as joyful. A great show and audience will do that to you. I myself felt the magic and was so honored to be there in the front row center stage for have the show. The first half of the show we sat next to the soundboard. It was great for my wife and I to see him at two different vantage points. God bless you Gordon! And bless Charlene for making this a great home for his fans.
